Definitions
"User" refers to any individual registering as a sender or traveler.
"Parcel" means an item handed over by the sender for delivery.
"Service" includes matchmaking, coordination, and commission handling via OpenEnvelope.
Platform Usage
Users must provide accurate travel data and parcel intent.
Travelers must inspect and verify content. Consent to open envelopes is mandatory.
Payment & Fees
Senders must pay the quoted fee in full to confirm match.
Travelers receive payout after delivery confirmation.
OpenEnvelope charges a nominal platform fee (included in total pricing).
User Responsibility
Users must not attempt to send illegal, hazardous, or undeclared items.
Travelers must ensure they comply with local transport and aviation norms.
Cancellation/Refund
Once confirmed, transactions are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Liability Limit
OpenEnvelope is a facilitator, not the courier. Liability is limited to coordination.
Disputes between sender and traveler must be resolved via our grievance cell.
Indemnity Clause
Users agree to indemnify OpenEnvelope from liabilities due to false declarations or damage.
Intellectual Property
All app designs, trademarks, and data structures belong to OpenEnvelope.
Age Restriction
Users below 18 are not allowed on the platform.
Jurisdiction
Legal jurisdiction falls under Pune, Maharashtra, India.
